Valentines Party

When I was little, we always had a Beelsey Valentine's Day Party.  Well, about eight years ago, we stopped having the extended-Beesley Parties.  My mom has continued the tradition amongst the Alvey family (some years) since then.  Luckily, this was an "on" year.  The kids had a blast with their cousins playing games and exchanging Valentines and trying to guess how many hearts were put up in the kitchen--since they each got a prize it makes me wonder if Mom really counted to know how many hearts there really were, hmmmm, guess I should have guessed to.
It was really fun to get together as a family (we missed the Harris', Dobbs, and Michael & Katrina who all live out of state now, and Chase who didn't get off work).  Thanks Mom and Dad for all the fun!

I miss G&G parties, too. I thought of doing 'heart-attack" decor at Grandma's place, just to cheer her up, but I'm not sure she'd appreciate it as much. A visit w/a Valentine might be just as good. Fun that you're carrying on the tradition. OK, I feel so dumb. Where are Michael and Katrina now living? I'm so out of it!

We miss you guys too. It's weird not being invited to all of the family parties and we miss all of the kids too. Lubba!
